Art in the art sites: this is the thrilling journey into the world of the figurative arts of Portraits on stage first edition, scheduled from 12 September to 4 October in the daytime, in the extraordinary setting of the Sanctuary of Hercules Victor in Tivoli.
The different expressions of drama theatre, music and dance give life to thirteen live shows in one of the most important sacred complexes during the Republican age, dedicated to the patron god of ancient Tibur. In addition to being a tribute to art and artists, the Festival is an invitation to socialize again safely and discover the regional artistic and landscape heritage.
The event was born from the national network Portraits on stage, a group of artists and workers who collaborate with institutions, museums and historical sites - to create works combining visual arts and theatre in a language for a heterogeneous public and accessible to all.
