Palazzo Merulana, the space for art and culture in the heart of the Esquilino neighborhood, will reopen from 15 July to the public. Visitors will return to admire the Cerasi collection focusing on early 20th century Italian art, with a new layout and new additions. Until 30 August, the entrance ticket gives also access to the exhibition “Tina Modotti. L’Eros della Rivoluzione”, with the surprisingly modern and revolutionary images of one of the most influential photographers of the beginning of the last century.
The Palazzo will be open from Wednesday to Sunday: to ensure maximum safety and compliance with current regulations, entrance is allowed to a limited number of visitors (20 visitors per time slot) every hour, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Reservation is therefore recommended even if not mandatory.
Visitors will have their body temperature measured at the entrance and will be able to access the exhibition halls only by wearing a mask and keeping the interpersonal distance of at least one meter. A hydroalcoholic solution is available in each room to sanitize the hands.
