From 3 July, the Pantheon will be paid for

Pantheon
from 3 July 2023 to 31 December 2023

The Ministry of Culture and the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres, better known as the Pantheon, have signed the new agreement containing the regulations for the use of the Basilica.

According to the provisions of the agreement, starting from 3 July 2023 an entrance ticket to the Pantheon complex is introduced. The proceeds will be divided as follows: 70% in favor of the MiC and 30% in favor of the Diocese of Rome.

The Ministry bears the costs of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and cleaning, while the Diocese of Rome will use the resources for charitable and cultural activities and for maintenance, conservation and restoration of state-owned churches present in its territory.

The following categories are exempt from payment, as is already the case for museums: children under 18, protected categories, teachers accompanying school groups.

Access remains free of charge in the cases provided for by law and for residents in the territory of the Municipality of Rome.

Furthermore, access to the faithful remains free for participation in religious and worship activities.

Until 15 September, the fee includes 1 euro to be used to secure and restore the cultural heritage in the areas affected by the recent flooding.

PRICES
€ 5.00 full price
€ 3.00 reduced for young people aged between 18 and 25

The entrance ticket can be purchased online on the MUSEITALIANI platform (www.museiitaliani.it), starting from 7:00 on 3 July 2023, or directly at the cash desk, in front of the monument, in cash or electronic money.
