The initiative, part of the "Together for the Jubilee" project, involves a cultural and tourism exchange between the two municipalities of Rome and Assisi. One thousand Roma Passes in fact, have been delivered to the city of Assisi, while five hundred Assisi Cards will be distributed to Roman citizens. The cards provide free access to major historical and artistic sites and dedicated tourist itineraries, thanks to the collaboration of Zètema Cultura and Opera Laboratori Fiorentini.
The initiative, which took place a few days ago in the Giulio Cesare Hall in the Capitoline Hill, was attended by the President of the Capitoline Assembly, Svetlana Celli, the Mayor of Assisi, Valter Stoppini, and the President of the Assisi City Council, Annalisa Rossi.
The project doesn't end with the Holy Year, but is destined to grow over time through further shared cultural initiatives. Rome and Assisi, in fact, intend to serve as a hub of brotherhood and sustainable tourism in the future, in the spirit of the Jubilee and beyond.
