A city with an infinite plurality of architectural and artistic declinations, but which enchants even just walking through its streets: Rome is an eternal city that never stops renewing itself and looking to the future and its ancient heart crosses the digital age.
A special marketing campaign was thus designed in collaboration with Alipay, the main digital payment platform in China. By using social media, it aims at relaunching Rome as a tourist destination and reaching a wider audience by communicating its style, its colors, its uniqueness.
For welcoming and encouraging Chinese tourism, travel blogger Xiao Yu explains the city with a video-diary – that is, a vlog – divided into three episodes. A journey to discover the art and history of Rome highlighting the city most iconic monuments and places, from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain, from the Capitoline Hill to via dei Fori Imperiali... And that’s not all: to make unforgettable a tourist experience, the shopping streets, Roman lifestyle and habits, typical dishes and street food are of course worth mentioning.
