from 22 June 2020 to 31 July 2020

From 16 June scheduled flights will resume from the G.B Pastine airport in Ciampino, interrupted last March due to the COVID-19 emergency.

Wizzair has already reactivated the connections, with some weekly flights to Moldova and Romania. From 21 June, Ryanair has restarted operations with connections to various destinations including Lisbon, Budapest, Manchester and Cagliari and then to Paris, Madrid, Athens, Prague, Warsaw, Valencia, Krakow and Brussels. Both airlines plan to further increase flights to and from the Roman airport in the following weeks.

In this phase of recovery, the airport has implemented all the necessary initiatives to make the airport safe, including the use of thermal scanners at the entrance of the terminal and the sanitisation of the entire internal and external areas of the airport. In addition, the spaces inside the airport have been redesigned to ensure the social distancing, with new signs, information totems and sanitising gel dispensers and mask dispensers. Inside the airport of Ciampino, as in all closed premises open to the public, it is obligatory to wear a protective mask
