From Friday 17 July to 6 September, Cinecittà World, the amusement park dedicated to Cinema and TV, opens the Drive-In, to experience the atmosphere of the 70s and 80s.
It has 200 parking lots and an 18 x 11 meters maxi screen, easily visible from every part of the area, for comfortably watching a movie from your car, by adjusting the audio through your car radio.
The screenings include mainly Italian titles, light and sparkling, films to enjoy or rediscover with "Sorrisi all'italiana". The programming ranges from Monday's auteur films to Tuesday's summer cinepanettoni, to "lions" Wednesdays, to the vices and virtues of Italian families on Thursdays, to hilarious Friday nights titles, to blockbuster films on Saturdays and Sunday love films.
As in the best traditions of Drive-In, there are popcorn, chips and hot dogs, while nice pin-ups roller skate in the parking lot. 100 seats in the first rows, under the stars, are for bikers and guests of Roma World, the theme park dedicated to ancient Rome.
