WOMAD Festival arrives for the first time in Rome, the most important event in the world of "World Music", founded in 1980 by the great English rock musician Peter Gabriel, which today opens to all new artistic expressions.
WOMAD – which will be premiered on June 7 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica with a concert by Carmen Consoli and Mariza – will continue from June 9 to 11 in the wonderful setting of Villa Ada, where a real global village will be built. With concerts by artists from all over the world, workshops for adults and children, music and art workshops, food and wine and much more.
