Who Is On Next? 2022

A special evening in an exceptional location: an evocative catwalk on Piazza del Campidoglio will host the fashion show of the eleven finalists of the contest created by AltaRoma and Vogue Italia, with the awarding of all the winners.

Dedicated to womenswear, menswear and accessories brands producing in Italy, and now in its 18th edition, Who Is On Next? is one of the most representative projects of AltaRoma fashion week and has launched names of international stature over the years. An ideal setting for an innovative experimental approach to design, while maintaining a strong connection with artisan traditions and Made in Italy excellence, the contest is a unique chance to promote new creative talents on the national scene and offer them the support they need to launch and develop their creations. Particular attention is also paid to responsible projects, inspired by values such as environmental and social sustainability, inclusion, innovation and ethical responsibility –  the new fashion drivers with which even the big fashion houses identify.

Evaluating the finalists is an international jury made up of representatives from the world of publishing, distribution, and the fashion industry. Among them are Sara Sozzani Maino (Head of Special Projects Vogue Italia, International Brand Ambassador Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana), Luca Rizzi (Director Tutoring & Consulting Pitti Immagine), Manuela Brini (Director of Creative Talent Acquisition and Development LVMH Fashion Group), Matteo Ward (co-founder WRAD), Michelle Francine Ngonmo (Talent scout, CEO - Founder Afro Fashion Association), Stella Jean (Fashion designer-UN goodwill ambassador-WAMI founder) and Raffaello Napoleone (CEO Pitti Immagine).
