Van Gogh Experience

Van Gogh Experience ©NEXTEXHIBITION

An immersive experience in the universe and masterpieces of the brilliant Dutch painter: it is the first major multimedia exhibition of the Next Museum, an international production of Next Exhibition, in collaboration with the Dreams Cultural Association.

Among paintings such as The Starry Night, The Sunflowers, the Starry Night over the Rhone, the Self-Portrait, The Potato Eaters, Wheatfield with Crows and the Bedroom at Arles, reproduced with Virtual Reality, the Van Gogh Experience accompanies the public in a real journey through time, emotions, torments and places of the master of colour.

After the artist's life timeline, you enter the video mapping room of over one thousand square meters, where, in an atmosphere full of suggestions, you are surrounded by works of art that come to life. Between swirling shapes, captivating colours and landscapes of extraordinary intensity, you can admire the video, standing or sitting, beeing at the same time interpreters of the scenic setting, enjoying a 360-degree immersion in Van Gogh's world, accompanied by waves of images and classical music.

Among the scenarios on display, in addition to the dreamlike Starry Night, are the Wheat Field, the Sunflowers and the reconstruction of Van Gogh's room, the iconic paintings with bright colours and intense yellow, where you can take selfies and unforgettable souvenir photos.

The exhibition path is enriched by the Virtual Reality section (optional and with an accessory ticket) - which allows you to see "the world" through the eyes of the artist with the latest generation oculus - and an interactive educational area dedicated to the creativity of adults and children.
