
As part of the Vascello in Musica Programme, the season Classical music without limits opens, curated by the young and talented violinist, organist, composer and conductor Stefano Mhanna.
The programme includes, among the most important, the Sonata n. 5 for piano and violin and the Sonata n. 12, op. 26 by Ludwig Van Beethoven, the Sonata op. 94-bis for violin and piano by Sergej Prokofiev, the Tzigane for violin and piano by Maurice Ravel, the Prelude and Fugue BWV 544 by Johann Sebastian Bach, the Polonaise, Op. 53 and the Scherzo n. 2 in B flat minor, Op. 31, by Frédéric Chopin.
Internationally renowned musician, Stefano Mhanna graduated from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome in violin, viola, piano, organ and organ composition with full marks and
he currently collaborates as a soloist with various Italian and foreign orchestras such as the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Great Rachmaninov Orchestra conducted by Nicolai Rogotnev, the Filarmonia Veneta Orchestra, the Kiev Chamber Orchestra and many others. Titular organist at the Basilica Sacro Cuore di Gesù in Castro Pretorio and the Church of Santa Dorotea in Trastevere and conductor of the Novi Toni Comites orchestra, he has won numerous awards including the Siae prize, the Rotary for the string section, the MAE and five national competitions and two international ones.
