Transizioni

Almost eight billion sapiens on planet Earth and their mad rush to accumulation: breathing, drinking, feeding, warming, enlightening, caring, moving, and equipping. Every human activity becomes critical nowadays because the environment is not an endless food reserve and a dustbin with unlimited capacity for self-purification.

In this context, an ecological transition is fundamental and must become a cultural priority.

New technologies and innovative materials can significantly help sustainable conversion only if they are part of a new cultural-environmental awareness that Transizioni wants to help build.

Transizioni is a festival dedicated to the culture of sustainability under the scientific care of geologist CNR, scientific popularizer, and essayist Mario Tozzi. It is also an opportunity to reflect and build a new cultural and environmental awareness through different languages.

Guido Barbujani, Lorenzo Baglioni, Maurizio de Giovanni, Ilaria Gaspari, Barbara Mazzolai, Alfonsina Russo, Edoardo Zanchini, and the Têtes de Bois are participating in the three days of meetings, stories, and music dedicated to the ecological transition between literature, environment, genetics, and archaeology at the event.
