Tennis & Friends Salute e Sport - Main Edition (Tennis & Friends Health and Sport Main Edition)

Following the resounding success of previous editions, Tennis & Friends Salute e Sport Main Edition (Tennis and Friends-Health and Sport) returns to Rome from October 10th to 12th at the Foro Italico for the 15th anniversary Main Edition. This year, the event, which focuses on free health prevention and sport, aims to raise public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise.

In the evocative setting of the Foro Italico, medical specialists, athletes, celebrities, and thousands of citizens gather to share an experience dedicated to prevention, well-being, and solidarity, which includes free visits, meetings with experts, matches, performances, conferences, training and learning areas for children and teens, and many activities that emphasize self-care and the culture of prevention.

Program: As per tradition, the first day, Friday, October 2nd, is dedicated to the Schools Project: over ten thousand students from Rome and Lazio, of all levels, are expected at the Foro Italico for the opening. On the same day, over 30 sports federations will open the Sport Village, which will host recreational and sporting activities for all ages, including tournaments and exhibitions. The Armed Forces and the Police Forces will open the Interforce Village, which will offer the public a firsthand look at their important work with demonstrations and interactive tours. On Saturday, October 3rd, the Health Village opens, comprising 86 healthcare facilities in 73 specialized areas. For two days, visitors to the area will be able to enjoy completely free medical visits and specialist screenings, offered by a team of healthcare professionals, coordinated by the ASL Roma 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Over the weekend, Tennis and Friends INCONTRA will host the scientific portion of the event, with conferences, debates, and book presentations on the world of health and sports. This will also be another stage of the Tennis and Friends IN CORSIA project, which has already brought the game of tennis to pediatric oncology wards, bringing smiles to young patients' faces. The grand finale will take place on Sunday, October 4th, with the closing ceremony featuring the Ambassadors. Free visits and screenings offered by healthcare professionals will continue throughout the day.
