
Over 300 events, 500 speakers, 200 locations and more than 50 partners including institutions, media and private entities for Rome Future Week, the largest networking event on the future of the city.
For three years now, Rome has been hosting this widespread event that transforms it into a living laboratory for anticipating the future. Mutazioni (Mutations), the theme chosen for this third edition, is an invitation to read the future as a flow and movement of natural and cultural transformation that crosses bodies, languages, technologies, cities and relationships.
Not a simple superficial renewal, but a profound process in progress, a sign that we are learning to rewrite ourselves, questioning identities, paradigms and worldviews. It is no coincidence that the symbol of the 2025 edition is a butterfly, the emblem of transformation.
New for the 2025 edition are the thematic Future Hubs, which use dedicated languages and formats to illustrate a different dimension of the mutations underway: Ethiopia Lab, Casa Futuro (House of the Future), Alchemy Maker, and Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti (House of Emerging Technologies) of Roma Capitale.
A large space is given to under-25s, who are active protagonists in the story: speakers, volunteers, videomakers and “shadows” within the organising team. Selected through a call for applications, dozens of young people are ready to share their visions.
This edition of Rome Future Week is also being organised in collaboration with ROAD - Rome Advanced District, a network that brings together companies (including Eni, Ferrovie dello Stato, Cisco, Nextchem, Autostrade, Acea and Bridgestone), universities, start-ups, research centres and institutions to create a hub of sustainable innovation in the Gazometro area.
Alongside ROAD, many partners and sponsors have decided to support this new edition: RINA, Ferrovie dello Stato, Regione Lazio, IUL (Università Telematica degli Studi IUL), Little Genius International, Fondazione MSD, Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale, Istituto Pantheon, SONY Csl, Translated, Telecom, Engel & Volkers, Confcommercio. RAI and RDS are the official media partners of the festival.
The initiative is sponsored by the Lazio Region, Tor Vergata University, Convention Bureau Roma e Lazio, Unindustria and Formez, whose presence is an important sign of the changes taking place in the public administration.
