Following the success of the first three editions, the Roma Storia Festival 2025 (Rome History Festival) returns from September 18 to 21, 2025. The event unfolds over four days rich with events and innovations, with the fil rouge remaining the free, original lectures given by leading Italian historians, writers, and scholars. Hosted in the captivating setting of piazza di Pietra, the Hall of the Temple of Vibia Sabina and Hadrian, and the Council Chamber of the Chamber of Commerce, this year's Roma Storia Festival 2025 focuses on "The Story of Rome," a journey of different testimonies and experiences that aims to capture the unique features of the Eternal City.
Each edition of the Roma Storia Festival is founded on a profound belief: Rome is not just a place, but a story, a symbol, a myth that resonates in the present. This is why, this year too, historians, writers, and scholars of art, film, and music take turns to paint a complex, vibrant, and fascinating image of the city.
The event is promoted and organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce, conceived and designed by Laterza Publishers, with the patronage of the European Commission and the Department of Culture of Rome Capitale. A press conference will be held on September 8th at the Rome Chamber of Commerce headquarters, revealing the complete program of the event.
The complete program will be available on the website from September 8th: www.romastoriafestival.it/
