The Botanical Garden hosts the third edition of the festival of the native vines of the Vigneto Italia. In the moonlight, under the starry sky of Rome, you can taste the best Italian wines produced in purity, walking in the beautiful gardens open exclusively in the event areas.
The unique project is a work by Luca Maroni, internationally renowned sensorial analyst and well-known writer, together with the Botanical Garden Museum - Sapienza University in partnership with Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo.
The free tastings of single-variety wines are enriched by artistic and musical performances, DJ sets, workshops for kids, a contest for the best interpretation of the floral-themed dress code and suggestive dégustation sur l'herbe, the narrations conducted by Maroni to discover all the sensorial nuances of the wines.
The wines of more than 50 Italian wineries reveal their many identities, territories of origin, harvest times, the long path to get into the glass, and the human work that led them to great results.
