Now in its 16th edition, Rock in Roma once again confirms its status as one of the most eagerly anticipated music events of the Italian summer – a stage for major national and international headliners as well as a key reference point for audiences and artists from around the world.
In 2026, Rock in Roma once again brings to the stage a line-up that reflects the latest trends of the contemporary music scene. Blending genres, styles, and generations, the festival’s dynamic and inclusive spirit continues to evolve while staying true to its rock identity and broadening its horizons – from Rock to Pop, from Urban to Indie, from Metal to the Italian singer-songwriter tradition.
Since its launch in 2009, Rock in Roma has achieved one success after another, hosting more than 300 concerts and attracting over 3 million spectators. Its stage has welcomed Italian and international stars including The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Radiohead, Måneskin, Post Malone, Arctic Monkeys, Marilyn Manson, Green Day, Rammstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fontaines D.C., The Chemical Brothers, The Killers, Metallica, Slipknot, Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Queens of the Stone Age, Sigur Rós, Iron Maiden and Linkin Park, to name just a few.
To ensure concertgoers can return safely after the shows, Rock in Roma provides the Eventi in Bus shuttle service, connecting the Ippodromo delle Capannelle with Roma Termini Station, departing approximately 30 minutes after the end of each concert.
The festival also stands out for its eco-friendly approach: dedicated recycling stations for separate waste collection are available throughout the concert venues.
