After a brief, partial closure required for redevelopment, the Parco dei Quattro Venti is ready to reopen and be available to residents with a completely renewed guise. The redevelopment included the reclamation of the entire area, the installation of a drinking water point with a system for reusing water for irrigation, the installation of a new fence with three pedestrian entrances, the creation of an area dedicated to urban gardens, a playground, a pedestrian path, the installation of new benches, the construction of a fitness trail, and a new equipped dog area.
From June 16th to 18th, the inauguration of the new "Play!Ground Together" project, in collaboration with the Department of Major Events of Rome, is also scheduled. The project will provide the neighborhood with a redeveloped, accessible, and inclusive space designed for play, sports, and socializing. This space, dedicated to children, families, and young people, is a place to experience every day as a meeting place, a place for socializing, and a place of well-being.
To celebrate the reopening, three afternoons of free activities, creative workshops, games, sports, and celebrations open to the entire community are planned.
