Dedicated exclusively to independent publishing, Più libri più liberi hosts every year about 500 publishers who, coming from all over Italy, present to the public the novelties and their catalog.

Five days for over 650 events to meet the authors, attend readings and musical performances, listen to debates on industry issues.

Più libri più liberi was born in December 2002 from an idea of the Gruppo Piccoli Editori of the Associazione Italiana Editori to give visibility to as many small publishing houses as possible. It is also a space to illustrate their production, often obscured by that of the larger companies.

But the real heart of Più libri più liberi is its intense cultural program: meetings with authors, reading, debates on current issues, initiatives for the promotion of reading, live music, and performances mark the five days of the event in a continuous succession for all tastes and all ages.

The theme for the new edition of Più libri più liberi is freedom, a subject dear to the event that has included it in its name.

The focus of this year is on the freedom that books can offer us. For this reason, together with the great national and international guests at Più libri più liberi, we talk about the books that have freed us, breaking patterns, barriers, fragilities, taboos.
