The concert at the Palladium Theater is part of the "Bruckner Project" which Roma Tre Orchestra dedicates to the transcriptions of the symphonies of the great Austrian composer, in view of the 200th anniversary of his birth in 2024. The Symphony n.1 in C minor by Anton Bruckner, scheduled for the evening, it is adapted by Matteo Rubini for a smaller instrumental ensemble, under the direction of Massimiliano Caldi.

On the program is also the new piece by Matteo Rubini Phoenix, which is performed by the famous pianist Roberto Prosseda. A sensitive and attentive interpreter of modern and contemporary music, Prosseda also performs Luigi Dallapiccola's Little concert for Muriel Couvreux. The title of this composition takes the name of the dedicatee, daughter of a Parisian friend of the composer. Written between 1939 and 1941, this piece still has a diatonic writing; shortly after, Dallapiccola was one of the first Italian composers to embark on the path of dodecaphony. The concert was performed for the first time at the Teatro delle Arti in Rome in 1941, when Paris had been under the Nazi regime for almost a year.
