The concert is part of a series of cultural meetings, conferences and screenings revolving around the "Pasolini painter" exhibition at the Modern Art Gallery in Rome. In the Prima Prattica Ensemble concert program, three pieces composed on Pasolini's poetic texts and in world premiere at the GAM are presented, including some of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance “a cappella” vocal repertoire.
The Prima Prattica ensemble is a polyphonic group specialized in the sacred and profane Renaissance repertoire, which takes its name from the "old style" typical of the sixteenth-century school of composition. The ensemblewas born within the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2014, from the desire to create a new Roman reality in the field of choral music.
