We Want It All, the spectacular opera by the famous Italian-Dutch duo, inaugurates the 37th edition of the Romaeuropa Festival on the stage of the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
The event presents 11 closing scenes of their almost 60 creations made between 1995 and 2020. The dancers of the ICK Dans Amsterdam and the junior ICK-Next dance between theatrical, rock and pop atmospheres, virtuosity and classicism, on iconic music - from Bach to Marylin Manson to Queen - in which the "Body in Revolt" is always the protagonist. The famous song I Want It All by the legendary British band inspires the show title: according to Greco and Scholten, the final scenes of their performances do not represent a conclusion but a new beginning that opens up to the future and new perspectives.
World premiere in Italy, the show celebrates the long collaboration between the two choreographers, born in 1995 and merged into the ICK international dance platform in 2009. During their career, the two artists have presented their shows worldwide, have been directors of the Ballet National de Marseille (BNM) from 2014 to 2018 and received numerous international awards, including the Golden Swan, the highest honour for dance in the Netherlands.
