The Irish singer-songwriter arrives at the Roman Theater of Ancient Ostia for an unmissable concert, part of his summer tour which, in July, sees him performing in eight appointments in prestigious Italian locations.
His nomadic spirit has led him to travel the world, picking up the guitar and singing in the streets. In 1999 he moved to Tuscany for a few months, then travelled throughout Europe and finally returned to his homeland with many new ideas and arrangements. In that year, Rice released O, his first album of ballads, recorded and self-produced at home, in which he played guitar, piano, bass, clarinet and percussion, communicating his positive energy and extraordinary sensitivity. After numerous tours, the artist released two more albums, 9 and My Favorite Faded Fantasy, further highlighting his nature as a sincere and spontaneous musician.
Born in 1973, the singer from County Kildare stands out for his unconventional style: he prefers to improvise on stage without having a setlist. He also loves travelling by sailboat, stopping at ports and then going on land to reach his concert venues.
