The appointment with the Classical Sunday returns to the Teatro Sala Umberto, with the artistic direction of Lorenzo Porta del Lungo and the organization by the Suono e Immagine Association.
The concert, for oboe, flute and harp, is composed by the musicians of the Demon Trio from the Orchestras of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Teatro San Carlo Felice in Genoa. The program includes a large part of the historical Central European twentieth century repertoire.
In the first pieces by composers Walter Dahlhoff and Ernesto Kohler, the ethereal sounds of the harp create a harmonious bond with the sound of the two flutes, giving us late romantic atmospheres. While in the compositions by Frank Martin, Hanns Eisler and Arthur Honegger, the writing becomes more daring from a harmonic point of view while maintaining a link with the contrapuntal tradition of the German Baroque.
With Annalisa De Santis (harp), Stefania Morselli (piccolo), Alberto Negroni (oboe).
