In the enchanting setting of the Castle of Julius II, in the village of Ostia Antica, jazz takes stage this summer with the Castle in Jazz initiative. Thanks to the collaboration between the Ostia Antica Archaeological Park and the Maccarese Saxophone Museum, the sounds of jazz and swing will liven up Saturday evenings.
Every Saturday in July in fact, and then from September 6th to December 27th, 2025, the Castle of Julius II will extend its opening hours to the public from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm, offering Castle in Jazz: a series of jazz concerts every Saturday (except September 27th).
