Eight years after the last Roman concert of Tuxedomoon, the American cult band founded in 1977 with Steve Brown, Blaine L. Reininger returns to the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
A Violinist, a multi-instrumentalist, a singer, and a composer, Blaine L. Reininger was born in Colorado, but since the '80s, he has lived in Europe, especially Belgium, Italy, and Greece, where he has put down roots, continuing to gather around him, international musicians and artists.
He presents his new album, Wounds, and Blessings, released last November by the Belgian label Les Disques du Crépuscule, and some historical songs by Tuxedomoon, with the intriguing guitarist, Tilemachos Moussas.
The performance of Luca Ciarla, violinist, pianist, and composer, with visual artist Keziat - special guest Nicola Alesini on sax - opens the concert. The event is dedicated to alternative languages, techniques, and creative approaches in the world of stringed instruments.
