Leonardo da Vinci Airport was awarded with the Best Airport Awards of "Airport Council International", the institutional association that independently detects the liking of passengers in the main airports of the world. It is the first time since these surveys have been done that the award has been won in two consecutive years by the same airport, along with Schiphol.
The award was made possible thanks to the outstanding levels of quality for passengers, technological innovation and infrastructure efficiency, one of the best punctuality rates in Europe for departing flights, terminal’s efficiency, the security management, close cooperation with airlines, continuous performance monitoring and clear environmental objectives.
ADR's management capacity is also confirmed by Skytrax, the leading international rating company in the airport sector, that confirmed the 4-star Skytrax. Among the reasons, once again the strong orientation of the airport management to ensure passenger passenger comfort and excellence in operations.
