The Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum for Decorative Arts, Costume and Fashion is located in the Villino Boncompagni, a beginning of the century refined evoking of the Roman late baroque. The building is a work by G.B. Giovenale and was donated complete with the furniture to the Italian State by princess Boncompagni Ludovisi. It was intended to collect works of art, decorative arts and architectonic decorations, fashion and costume, design from the end of the eighteenth throughout the twentieth century, and currently it has a collection of glasses, ceramics, and furniture coming from recent donations.
