The other works. Artists who collect artists

Le altre opere. Artisti che collezionano artisti foto Museo Bilotti

The event, which takes place thanks to this exhibition project, can be defined as a celebration of contemporary art in Rome's museums.

In fact, through it, there is the prospect of implementing a first review dedicated to the art present today in the capital; there are 86 artists who alternate in five civic museums: Bilotti Museum, Villa Borghese Orangery, Pietro Canonica Museum in Villa Borghese, Rome Museum in Trastevere, Gallery of Modern Art and Napoleonic Museum, which "show themselves" through their collection of contemporary art, so that their works can be compared with those of other artists, styles and languages.

The project, started in 2018 thanks to a great organizational commitment and completed in 2020, exhibits 550 works in an innovative dialogue between the artists and their passions.
