Five-star boutique hotel Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese, located in a quiet street in the historic centre of Rome, has re-opened following a complete redesign by French architect and interior designer, Jean-Philippe Nuel, and aims to become a perfect fusion of La Dolce Vita with French allure.
The redesign of the former 19th century palace combines tradition and modernism, classicism and design. An entrance with chromatic counterpoints and vibrant colors, three large rooms for events and meetings, a modern fitness centre and an iridescent rooms’ ceiling masterpiece, creating the illusion of the bright sky above, are just some of the innovations that have interested the building.
Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese is also home to Settimo Roman Cuisine and Terrace, an elegant rooftop lounge and restaurant with eclectic furnishings and lush green interiors, offering panoramic views overlooking the picturesque Villa Borghese gardens, Trinità dei Monti, Piazza del Popolo and St. Peter’s Basilica. Signature dishes by the hotel’s Executive Chef, Giuseppe D’Alessio, incorporate traditional Roman culinary styles.
