From 24 to 27 September 2026, the unmissable appointment with the Roma Storia Festival returns – the great narrative of the capital’s history, hosted in the splendid Piazza di Pietra, the Hall of the evocative Temple of Vibia Sabina and Hadrian, and the Council Chamber of the Camera di Commercio.
Now in its fifth edition, the festival takes place under the theme ‘I giorni di Roma' (The Days of Rome): an invitation to rediscover the connection between the stories of the protagonists and the major events over the centuries, between the city’s history and the dynamics beyond its borders.
The event, which has enjoyed great success in previous years, features four days of original, free lectures held by Italy’s most authoritative historians, writers and academics, who will offer the public an authentic and vivid portrait of Rome as a symbol, a narrative and a combination of historical forces reflecting on the present.
Roma Storia Festival is promoted and organised by the Camera di Commercio, conceived and designed by Editori Laterza, under the patronage of the European Commission.
