‘L’Ara si rivela’ is a multimedia project designed to offer an immersive tour of the famous Augustan monument, whose original polychromy is brought back to life thanks to the highly immersive and realistic effect of video mapping, accompanied by a compelling narrative, music and atmospheric sounds.

In particular, you can admire:

• the western façade, featuring the panels depicting Aeneas making a sacrifice to the Penates and the Lupercale;
• the eastern façade, featuring the panels of Tellus and the Goddess Roma;
• the two large side processions.

The narration guides visitors on a journey of discovery not only through the monument’s ancient history, but also through its story of neglect and rediscovery.
