‘It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.’
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
From 11 to 22 February 2026, the Teatro Olimpico hosts the exciting and original show based on the poetic tale by French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Published in the early 1940s, this modern fairy tale is one of the most significant works of world literature, featuring an eternal child, a little traveller from a distant asteroid, who, travelling across planets and meeting different characters, invites us to reflect on the importance of love and friendship.
Against the backdrop of Carmelo Giammello's splendid sets, an exceptional cast – including Nicholas Ori (Prince), Davide Paciolla (Aviator) and Claudia Portale (Rosa) – directed by Stefano Genovese, with costumes by Guido Fiorato, musical direction and arrangements by Paolo Silvestri, takes the audience on a heart-warming journey, in an evocative combination of storytelling, music, song, circus arts, and performance theatre.
