The building, with a square plan, has a pyramid-shaped glulam roof with an octagonal lantern supported by four large inclined reinforced concrete beams resting on corner pillars. The hall is set on the diagonal of the square; the entrance, in a corner position, is characterised by a curvilinear septum supporting a canopy, while on the opposite corner, at the presbytery, the bell tower stands out. The interior is dominated by the complex geometry of the roof and the different colours of the materials. The walls are made of bricks, which protrude from the line of the brickwork in alternating courses. In the presbytery area, set in a corner position, is a rectangular, tripartite, splayed niche where marble seats for the celebrants are placed. At the top, a mosaic depicts Magdalene of Canossa and the Virgin. The crypt has a fair-faced concrete ceiling and massive, rustic brick columns.
