After eight years, the famous British musician returns to Italy and arrives in the evocative Circus Maximus for six eagerly awaited concerts, the world premiere of his international tour and the only dates in continental Europe.
David Gilmour presents Luck and Strange, the album released in September and the first with unreleased material in nine years. Produced with the collaboration of his wife, Polly Samson (lyrics), his daughter Romany (vocals in Between Two Points), and his son Gabriel (backing vocals), the album focuses on life, the passing of time and death and includes eight tracks, including The Piper's Call, the first single, and Luck and Strange in the version recorded in 2007 in a jam with Richard Wright.
A long-standing member of the legendary Pink Floyd, Gilmour is among the world's best guitarists and a brilliant innovator: his virtuosity on the guitar, great musical sensitivity and iconic notes continue to captivate audiences and inspire entire generations of musicians.
