SS. Benedetto e Scolastica all'Argentina

In the early C.XVII the citizens of Norcia founded a Confraternita appointed to the Santi Benedetto e Scolastica. The annexed oratory, headquarter of the Confraternita, was then turned into a church. In 1841 the church was restored and reopened, even though it underwent further restoration under Pio IX (1846-78) and Leone XIII (1878-1903). The interior has a single nave and two pilasters in the middle that separate the upper level roofed by a barrel vault from the opposite part with the altar having a plain roofing. The little church, very attended by the Roman natives of Norcia, does not include any decoration bearing particular historic-artistic interest.
