The evening program includes three pages of great repertoire: the Concert n.2 in D major for cello and orchestra and Concert n.1 in C major for violin and orchestra, Hob VIIa n.1 both by Franz Joseph Haydn and the Concert for violin and orchestra in E minor op.64 by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
The protagonists are two young musicians of exceptional talent and virtuosity, who have established themselves in recent years on the international scene thanks to the absolute mastery of their respective instruments. The 23-year-old violinist Aubree Oliverson is currently one of the most promising young artists in the United States: praised by the American press, she made her solo debut with the Utah Symphony at the age of eleven and has since, devoted herself to an important solo career. Anton Mecht Spronk, on the other hand, is a Dutch cellist with extraordinary qualities. In 2014, at the age of 19, he won the 1st prize and two special prizes at the Biennale Violoncello Amsterdam Competition and in 2019 he was awarded the "Prix du Rotary" at the Verbier Festival. In October of the same year he also won the 1st Prize, Audience Prize and Orchestra Prize at the Mazzacurati International Cello Competition in Turin.
The orchestra is also directed by Sieva Borzak, another young Italian-Russian talent, founder of the "Le Metamorphosis" Youth Orchestra.
