Galleria Corsini in an increasingly digital version, thanks to two new services available to visitors: a digital guide on tablet, created in collaboration with Consorzio Glossa, as part of the WeAct³ project - Technology for Art, Culture, Tourism, Territory promoted by Associazione Civita, and a free WiFi connection in all the rooms of the museum.
The innovation makes it easier to visit the Gallery, in the particular eighteenth-century set-up desired by Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini, with paintings arranged on several levels without the usual captions.
The guide, available in Italian, English and French languages, has a simple and intuitive interface and allows you to explore the history of the collections, the palace and the Corsini family, navigate the rooms of the cardinal's apartment and identify the over 300 paintings on display, including masterpieces by Beato Angelico, Guido Reni, Orazio Gentileschi, Pieter Paul Rubens, and Caravaggio.
Furthermore, 50 works are accompanied by a specific in-depth analysis which allows knowing their history and particularities.
