It is the first Italian award dedicated to business travel: conceived in 2014 by the Newsteca publishing house, the Italian Mission Awards annually select the best travel managers and the business travel sector operators, from car rental companies to hotels, from transport airplanes to travel technologies.
There are many new features for this year’s awards: alongside hotels, other types of locations come into play thanks to the “Meetings and events” section. The “Travel management companies” section now includes also the new category “Best account management service”, and a special award was created for the “Best duty of care service for business travelers”. In the “Hotels” section, the new category “Best luxury hotel for business travelers” from this year will award the most exclusive hotels in Italy.
Applications can be sent until 31 March by filling out the online questionnaire. The winners of each category will be decided by the IMA jury made up of travel managers and press members but again this year the readers of Mission - The business travel magazine will contribute to the choice, by voting online their favorites. The award ceremony will take place during a prestigious gala evening scheduled for 20 September 2021.
