In the splendid setting of the Eur district Lake, the day dedicated to sport and well-being in the open air, organised by Libertas Lazio with the collaboration of Coni Lazio, is back in its third edition.
SportCity Day, conceived and created by the Sportcity Foundation, represents an extraordinary opportunity to practice numerous sports for free, such as checkers, badminton, fencing, dynamic shooting, bocce - supported by local associations - field hockey, rugby, mini volleyball, and football.
The event will host the sports organisations of Nordic Walking - the Finnish-origin practice with sticks (with the opportunity to walk along the lake), Karate Italia - kumitè for all ages - and the ancient martial discipline of Philippine Kali.
Show and space for sports culture with the open days of some grassroots associations; among these, the Ginnastica Eur (high-level artistic gymnastics); the Roma12 Group (Minivolley and MMA), the ASD Studio Flamenco (Flamenco and castanets test); the Roman Academy of Arms (historical fencing exhibition).
Conceived and created by the Sportcity Foundation, SportCity Day counts 140 Italian cities, which, like real open-air gyms, simultaneously organise a feast dedicated to physical movement and wellness in squares, parks and equipped areas, involving an estimated number of over 150,000 people of all ages.
