The first protestant church in Rome was built in 1878. The inside of the church was frescoed by Paolo Paschetto with early Christian themes and biblical symbols in Art-Nouveau style. The same painter is the author of the seal of the Italian Republic and the stained-glass windows in the Waldensian church in Piazza Cavour.
