The puppet show at the Villa Torlonia Theater tells the story of Jolie, a little child living in an old cottage in the wood where she recently moved with her parents; Jolie has a vivid imagination and likes to invent lots of stories. So it happens that her parents, always busy, do not give her much credit when the child notices a creature of the wood which fascinates and terrifies her at the same time: a wolf.
Jolie is also very fond of her teddy bear Boh, faithful companion in adventures: one day, however, Boh mysteriously disappears, she courageously decides to go in search of her bear in the dark woods. Here she meets its many inhabitants, discovers enchanted landscapes, and when she thinks she is lost, Grandpa Knot and Grandma Bark give her the solution to face fear. Because we are all afraid, but sometimes, if we look closely, it can be scaled down, becoming small when it seemed as big as it seemed to us.
For the direction and dramaturgy of Nadia Milani; scenes, silhouettes and puppets by Gisella Butera, Andrea Lopez Nunes, Miriam Costamagna, Nadia Milani and Matteo Moglianesi. Original music by Andrea Ferrario.
