The Peeping Tom dance-theatre show with the cryptic title S 62° 58', O 60° 39', directed by Franck Chartier at the Teatro Argentina, is set in an apocalyptic scenario, in which a ship has run aground and is blocked among mountains of ice. In this arid and desolate landscape, a small community of people finds itself trapped, unable to continue; the protagonists survive only guided by nature, waiting for the ice to melt to continue their journey. At a certain point, the spectators are catapulted into another parallel reality: that of the artists and the director who create the work so that the doubt arises whether the characters or the actors who interpret them are on stage.
With Eurudike De Beul, Marie Gyselbrecht, Chey Jurado, Lauren Langlois, Yi-Chun Liu, Sam Louwyck, Romeu Runa, Dirk Boelens; choreography by Yi-Chun Liu and Peeping Tom.
The show is a co-production between Teatro di Roma - Teatro Nazionale and Fondazione Musica per Roma; it is presented in preview in the Equilibrio Festival 2024.
