When Science makes a show: space. Encounters between Science and Poetry - First Edition

The Teatro Argentina hosts the first edition of the new popular educational activity dedicated to space, in which scientists and astronomers, assisted by artists featured on the bill, guide the spectators, making the experience unique through the emotion of poetry.

The project, produced by the Teatro di Roma, is curated by Orsetta Gregoretti and Silvia Mattoni, both experts in the conception and organization of scientific and cultural events, directed by Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli.

At the centre of this edition are space and the spread of aerospace culture to make the daily work of scientists known to the general public and the social role they play in favor of society in their research activities.

The program includes an unusual and original encounter between great poetry, dedicated to the suggestion that the sky and its stars have always offered to poets, and science, which has revealed mysteries and opened up new perspectives to man: the evening in fact makes use of actors and experts, but there are also images and visual arts to accompany a fascinating and informative programme.
