On 14 October 2026, the tenth edition of the Ocean Film Festival World Tour Italy gets underway, bringing extraordinary stories of adventure, exploration and a love of the oceans to the big screen. A must-see event travelling to around 22 cities across Italy, it brings together ocean lovers, outdoor sports enthusiasts and nature fans.
The festival showcases a selection of the finest international short and mid-length films celebrating the marine world, chosen from the finalists of Ocean Film Festival Australia, one of the leading non-competitive festivals of its kind. Expect powerful, spectacular and immersive films by independent filmmakers from around the globe.
With over two hours of screenings, the programme aims to inspire and raise awareness through stories of adventure, travel, water sports, wildlife and marine conservation. The experience is made even more special by guest speakers attending the screenings, sharing their insights and taking part in discussions on pressing issues surrounding ocean conservation and the relationship between people and nature.
