Andy Warhol - Forever Love

From 10 September 2026 to 28 March 2027, La Vaccheria hosts a retrospective exhibition celebrating the iconic Pop Art artist through an immersive, unprecedented portrait exploring creativity, art and personal sphere.

The exhibition path, curated by Gianfranco Rosini – who met Warhol in Rome in 1975 and established a bond with the artist and his world – was born from a personal and privileged perspective and unfolds through a selection of emblematic works, photographs, objects, books and memoirs.

Andy Warhol – Forever Love is an evocative journey into the universe of one of the most influential figures in contemporary culture: the exhibition features 51 works by Warhol – including portraits of Regina Schrecker, Liza Minnelli, Marilyn Monroe, Joseph Beuys and Man Ray, the Campbell’s Soup cans, the Dollar Sign, the Candy Box (Heart), and the Kiku – accompanied by over 60 documents on the artist’s life and 37 works by major Pop artists close to his world.

Also on display are 28 original photographs by Dino Pedriali, who was Warhol’s chief assistant, which trace the key moments of his Italian and European experience, and, in a dialogue between the past and the present, an extraordinary reinterpretation of a detail from ‘St George and the Dragon’, a tribute to Paolo Uccello.

The exhibition is enriched by personal documents, correspondence with personalities such as Mick Jagger, Truman Capote and Elizabeth Taylor, studies, stencils and artistic materials, alongside the video work “Female Beauty – Warhol e l’universo femminile”, curated by Giuliano Gasparotti and Francesco Mazzei, featuring original music by Maestro Furio Valitutti for KIF Italia.
