The events industry is now a strategic economic driver, capable of generating significant value. The most reliable estimates suggest that the sector, in its broadest sense (meetings, conferences, corporate events, incentives), generates an economic impact of around 15 billion euros, within a rapidly growing market set to reach ever greater proportions in the coming years, both in Europe and globally.
The Italian events industry is at the heart of the event organised by ADC Group, powered by Plesh and BEA / Club degli Eventi, and organised in collaboration with the Rome and Lazio Convention Bureau: a day dedicated to discussion, networking and the sharing of new ideas and prospects for the sector’s development. For the first time in Rome, in the Serra of Palazzo Esposizioni, institutions, businesses and professionals from across the events sector have the opportunity to work together in an open and participatory forum to define guidelines and formulate concrete proposals to be put forward to policy-makers, addressing the sector’s current and future needs.
The format of the initiative is innovative and engaging: participants are divided into tables of eight and engage in collective brainstorming throughout the afternoon, with three working sessions introduced by a half-hour talk delivered by special guests. The discussion is monitored in real time by artificial intelligence and a team of moderators present in the room who, at the end of the event, will produce the “Manifesto” resulting from the day’s proceedings. The event is open to everyone: from small businesses to large corporations, as well as trade associations, experts and professionals. Participation is free of charge, subject to registration.
