Rom-e 2026

From 2 to 4 October 2026, Rome takes centre stage for sustainability with the sixth edition of Rom-E, the event dedicated to the environment, innovation and the energy transition. For three days, the Italian capital becomes a meeting point for people, businesses, technology and new ideas, offering a simple and engaging way to explore how we can build a greener future.

The event kicks off on Friday 2 October at the Casa del Cinema with the opening conference, focusing on energy, sustainable mobility, and the relationship between sport, wellbeing and the environment. Institutions, businesses and experts come together to discuss the changes already under way and the challenges ahead. The conference is streamed live on Rom-E’s online channels and on the websites of Corriere dello Sport-Stadio, Tuttosport and Auto.it.

On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, Villa Borghese hosts the exhibition area, featuring the event’s distinctive mirrored house-shaped structures, where companies and organisations showcase their commitment to sustainability. At Piazza Bucarest, on the Pincio, visitors can also experience electric cars and motorbikes through test drives accompanied by qualified drivers.

The major new addition this year is ROM-E Walk & Run, taking place on Sunday 4 October. It combines a run for more experienced participants with, above all, a 5-kilometre walk open to families, children and enthusiasts, through the green surroundings of Villa Borghese. It is an opportunity to bring together sport, wellbeing and community, one step at a time.

There are also activities for younger visitors, including traditional wooden games, encouraging everyone to rediscover the value of simple things and reconnect with nature. Because sustainability is also about knowing when to slow down, play, spend time together and breathe again.

Following last year’s success, which attracted more than 300,000 visitors and over 150 test drives, Rom-E returns with a programme packed with experiences designed to engage an ever-growing audience.
