Arco di Malborghetto, Memorie di pellegrini e giubilei in mostra (Malborghetto Arch, Archaeological Memories of Pilgrims and Jubilees) 

The exhibition, Arco di Malborghetto, Memorie archeologiche di pellegrini e giubilei (Malborghetto Arch, Archaeological Memories of Pilgrims and Jubilees), opening at the archaeological site of Malborghetto Arch, explores, through the artifacts on display, the phenomenon of pilgrimages along the Via Flaminia from the 4th to the 17th century, with particular attention to the spiritual role of the ancient hamlet of Malborghetto, built around a four-sided arch dating back to the Constantinian era. The exhibition also reconstructs, through rare materials and historical maps, Malborghetto's transition from commemorative arch to post station, serving as a hospitium on the road network during Jubilee periods.

This is therefore an important opportunity to understand the centrality of a place that has witnessed the passage of travelers, pilgrims, and devotees and can therefore be considered an exceptional testimony to historical and religious stratification. Thanks to the artifacts and documents on display, the public can rediscover not only the history of the building, but also the events related to past journeys and Jubilee journeys.

Please note that, concurrent with the exhibition opening, the project Malborghetto: History, Transformation, Discovery was created in collaboration with Explora, Rome's children's museum, with the aim of actively engaging young visitors and families in exploring the site. The exhibition—designed with inclusiveness in mind, with Braille panels and videos in sign language—combines history, play, and technology.

The exhibition is free of charge, according to the monthly opening schedule of the Arco di Malborghetto site.
