A whole week dedicated to promoting contemporary, designer, and artist jewelry, highlighting the city’s historical, modern, and current goldsmithing excellence. Now in its fifth edition and promoted by the Incinque Open Art Monti association, this year’s Roma Jewelry Week is supported by Municipio I - Roma Centro, VIVE-Vittoriano e Palazzo Venezia, the Metropolitan City of Rome, the Department of Security, Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities, and the City of Valenza.
In this Jubilee year, the theme chosen for the event is “Gaudium” (the Latin word for delight). This is an invitation to rediscover authentic joy – understood as a deep and genuine feeling that arises not only from immediate pleasures but from a more lasting condition of satisfaction and spiritual well-being – and to reflect on its symbolic value as a driver of creativity and rebirth. The theme is developed through exhibitions, workshops, conferences and meetings involving goldsmiths and jewellery designers from all over Italy and abroad, studios, galleries and associations, academies and schools, in a unique event dedicated to sharing.
The main venue for the 2025 edition is the evocative Sistine Corridors in the ancient Monumental Complex of Santo Spirito in Sassia: a site of great historical and artistic importance that meets the event’s goal of promoting the city’s historical and artistic heritage together with its intangible heritage.
